Bye Bye MOT
Last week my Lammie sailed through what appears will be its last MOT*.

It seems that from May next year vehicles over 40 years old will be exempt from an MOT. As with recent changes to tax exemption this is to be a rolling scheme.

UK government makes a sensible decision? Naaaah, can’t be right :-)

*Naturally, being a Lambretta, it wouldn’t start after the test, but that’s another story.

RE: Bye Bye MOT
Am not sure how true it is, but the urban legend is, that without proof of road worthiness(i.e. something like a 30quid mot or an engineers report at somewhat more than 30quid!!) getting insurance, is a problem Undecided

If you tell a big enough lie and keep repeating it, eventually people will believe it!! (Joseph Goebbels)
