Had the frame dipped and stripped then blasted the floor was not as good as i wanted so it will have to go, you only want to do the job once. The rest of it is in good nick when the tin work and lead loading are done will have the frame coated before the respray.

RE: GS 160 floor
The GS model was the only Vespa to have the curved floor which might of helped with aerodynamics but was a cause for so many to rot. Although you would of thought that an established dealer like Armandos would of sorted it.

You can get a complete replacement floor from quite a few places, Allstyles, SIP and even Scoots RS do one fairly cheaply. Unfortunately Pascoli doesn't according to his catalogue. I would go with SIP one myself, then treat yourself to the Pascoli floor runner kit.

I got mine when I ordered some stuff direct from him last year. Its all in Italian with drawing rather than photos! Cost me a fortune in postage getting the goods direct from him- which I wouldn't do again.

new floor arrived today looks the part just needs a few holes drilled in it for the runners.

RE: GS 160 floor
I do like GS Vespas. I love the curved floor and the other subtle differences to the rest of the range.

I'm going now to wash my mouth out.
